The names of the individual concessions sites have been changed. The new Lake Berryessa is a clean, safe, beautiful way to enjoy your lakeside experience, and changing the names helps us to celebrate this renewal.
The Bureau of Reclamation has given us possession of five of the six concession sites, and we will take possession of the sixth, Mahogany Bay, in 2013. To learn more about our relationship with the Bureau of Reclamation and what that means for the development, see our FAQ page.
Berryessa Shores will offer a wide variety of amenities and services designed to enhance everyone’s enjoyment of the majestic Lake Berryessa.
Currently, campers can relax with friends and cook over an open fire at one of the many spacious lakeside campsites, while boaters have 20,000 surface acres of wide open, beautiful waters perfect for swimming, sailing, power cruising, water skiing and wakeboarding. Everyone can take advantage of life on the water whether you are camping on the shore, cruising the waters in a speed boat or kayaking along the tranquil coves and inlets.
Coming soon, spacious and comfortable lodges will provide ideal accommodations for you to stay in while visiting the area. If you are looking for a romantic weekend enjoy a secluded cabin with a private deck overlooking the lake. The nearby Napa Valley wineries are a leisurely, scenic drive away along winding country roads. Everyone in the family will enjoy the lakeside cabins equipped with private barbecues to make feeding the whole family easy and affordable.
A hike through the system of trails that wind throughout the surrounding hills reveal breathtaking views. For the more adventurous, try an overnight camp at a variety of sites along the trail, or return to your room to relax before visiting a nearby restaurant.
